Wholesome, Easy, and Tail-Wagging Good!

Why I Started Making Grain Free Treats for My Dog Nina

It all began when Nina started itching like crazy. Her tummy was often upset after store-bought biscuits — even the ones labeled “healthy.” I felt helpless… until I dug deep into ingredient labels and started baking from scratch. That’s when everything changed. Her tail wagged longer, her belly settled, and treat time became bonding time.

The Problem with Store-Bought Dog Treats

Even “natural” dog treats can hide grains, preservatives, and artificial flavors that don’t sit well with sensitive pups.
If your dog’s dealing with:

  • Allergies

  • Frequent tummy troubles

  • Skin issues
...you might want to rethink those off-the-shelf snacks.

Why Pumpkin and Peanut Butter?

These two ingredients are a powerhouse combo:

  • Pumpkin : Rich in fiber and easy on digestion

  • Peanut Butter : High in protein and healthy fats (just make sure it’s xylitol-free!)

Bonus: Nina drools when she smells them baking.

Bonding Time with Nina

Baking has become our Saturday morning ritual. Nina sits beside the oven, waiting patiently. Those eyes say it all — “Thank you.”

It’s more than just treats. It’s time together. It’s love, shaped like bones and hearts.
