It all started on a crisp fall afternoon. I was sipping a warm chai while Indy, my playful border collie, laid near the oven watching every move I made. I had leftover pumpkin puree from a pie, an overripe banana, and some blueberries that were just about to go soft. Instead of tossing them, I had an idea: why not make Indy something special?
These Pumpkin Banana Blueberry Dog Treats were born from that cozy moment. They're not just healthy—they're made with love, and Indy knows it. Her tail wags wildly the moment I pull out the ingredients.

1/2 cup pumpkin puree (plain, unsweetened)
1 ripe banana (mashed)
1/3 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
1 1/2 cups oat flour (or ground rolled oats)

Important: Always use xylitol-free ingredients. Double-check your pumpkin puree and banana for additives.

Indy knows the sound of the banana peel. No joke. The second it tears open, she rushes in with bright eyes. Making treats like this has become our little ritual. I talk to her while mixing, and she waits patiently, licking the spoon when I’m done. It’s not just baking—it’s bonding.
