It all began with my sweet pup, Nina. She had this sensitive tummy that didn’t agree with most store-bought treats. One day, while browsing the kitchen for something comforting, I saw a can of pumpkin puree and a bag of rolled oats — and the lightbulb went off.
I wanted to create something wholesome, gut-friendly, and still tail-wagging delicious. That’s how these Pumpkin Rolled Oats Dog Treats were born.
They’ve now become a staple in our home — even more loved than the No-Bake Peanut Butter Banana Treats or the Soft Banana Dog Treats .
Pumpkin is a natural source of fiber, perfect for digestion. Rolled oats are gentle on sensitive stomachs and provide a nice, chewy base that dogs love.
These ingredients pair perfectly — like autumn and cozy socks.

1 cup pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)
2 ½ cups rolled oats (gluten-free if needed)
1 egg
½ teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, mix the pumpkin puree and egg until smooth.
Stir in oats and cinnamon until a dough forms.
Roll out the dough and cut into fun shapes using cookie cutters.
Place on a lined baking tray and bake for 25–30 minutes or until firm and golden.
Let cool completely before treating your pup.

Use silicone molds for bite-sized training treats or bake with bacon grease for extra flavor
Every time I bake these, Nina sits in the kitchen like a little sous chef — ears perked, tail wagging. She knows the smell, the routine, and even the timer beep.
It’s more than a treat. It’s a ritual. A memory. A moment I wouldn’t trade for anything.
