Ingredients

  • 1 cup natural peanut butter (unsalted, no xylitol)

  • 1 cup finely grated carrots

  • 1 ½ cups oat flour

  • 1 egg

  • 2–4 tablespoons water (as needed for dough)

How To Make

  1. Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, grated carrots, and egg. Stir until well blended.

  3. Add the oat flour gradually while mixing until a soft dough forms.

  4. If the dough feels too dry, add water one tablespoon at a time until it becomes easy to roll.

  5. Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface to about ½ inch thickness.

  6. Use bone-shaped cookie cutters to cut out treats.

  7. Place the treats on the prepared baking sheet.

  8. Bake for 18–22 minutes until the edges are lightly golden.

  9. Allow the treats to cool completely before serving to your dog.

How To Store

Store the treats in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.

For longer storage, freeze the treats in a sealed container or freezer bag for up to 3 months. Let them thaw for a few minutes before giving them to your dog.

  • Small dogs (under 10 kg): ½–1 treat per day

  • Medium dogs (10–25 kg): 1–2 treats per day
