  • 1 cup pumpkin purée (plain, unsweetened)

  • 1 cup grated zucchini (excess moisture squeezed out)

  • 2½ cups whole wheat flour (or oat flour for a lighter texture)

  • 1 large egg

  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil, melted

  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon (optional, dog-safe amount)

How To Make

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a large bowl, mix the pumpkin purée, grated zucchini, egg, and melted coconut oil until well combined.

  3. Gradually add the flour (and cinnamon if using), stirring until a soft dough forms.

  4. Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface to about ¼-inch thickness.

  5. Cut into bone shapes using a cookie cutter and place on the prepared baking sheet.

  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes, until the treats are firm and lightly golden.

  7. Let cool completely before serving to your dog.

How To Store

Store the treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
For longer storage, refrigerate for up to 2 weeks or freeze for up to 3 months. Always thaw frozen treats fully before serving.

Treats should complement your dog’s regular diet, not replace meals.
