Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats

  • ½ cup pure pumpkin purée (unsweetened, not pumpkin pie filling)

  • 1 egg

  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter (xylitol-free)

  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

How To Make

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

  2. Add the rolled oats to a blender or food processor and pulse until they form a coarse flour.

  3. Transfer the oat flour to a bowl and mix in the pumpkin purée, egg, peanut butter, and cinnamon until a soft dough forms.

  4. Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface to about ¼-inch thickness.

  5. Use a bone-shaped cookie cutter (or a knife) to cut out treats.

  6. Place the treats on the prepared baking tray and bake for 20–25 minutes, until firm and lightly golden.

  7. Let the treats cool completely before serving to your dog.

How To Store

Once cooled, store these Pumpkin Oat Dog Treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
For longer storage, keep them in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks or freeze them for up to 3 months. Always thaw frozen treats before serving.
