18 Dog Treats
1 cup pumpkin purée (plain, unsweetened — not pumpkin pie filling)
2½ cups whole wheat flour (or oat flour for sensitive tummies)
1 large egg
¼ cup natural peanut butter (xylitol-free)
¼ teaspoon cinnamon (optional, dog-safe in small amounts)
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, mix the pumpkin purée, egg, and peanut butter until smooth.
Gradually add the flour (and cinnamon if using), stirring until a firm dough forms.
Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface to about ¼-inch thickness.
Cut into bone shapes (or any fun shape you like) using a cookie cutter.
Place treats on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes, or until firm.
Let the treats cool completely before serving to your dog.
Once fully cooled, store the treats in an airtight container.
