18 Dog Treats
1 cup seedless watermelon (rind removed, finely chopped or blended)
1 cup grated carrot
2 to 2½ cups oat flour (or finely ground oats)
1 tablespoon coconut oil (melted)
1 large egg
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped watermelon and grated carrot.
Add the egg and melted coconut oil, mixing until well combined.
Gradually stir in the oat flour until a soft, workable dough forms.
Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface to about ¼-inch thickness.
Use a bone-shaped cookie cutter to cut out treats and place them on the baking sheet.
Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the treats are firm and lightly golden.
Let cool completely before serving to your dog.
Store the treats in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.
For longer storage, freeze them for up to 3 months and thaw as needed.
Small dogs: 1 treat per day
Medium dogs: 1–2 treats per day
Large dogs: 2–3 treats per day
Always supervise your dog with new treats and adjust portions based on size and activity level.
