Ingredients

  • 1 cup pumpkin purée (plain, unsweetened—not pie filling)

  • ½ cup natural peanut butter (xylitol-free)

  • 2½ cups whole wheat flour (or oat flour for a gentler option)

  • 1 large egg

  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

How To Make

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a mixing bowl, stir together the pumpkin purée, peanut butter, and egg until smooth.

  3. Gradually add the flour (and cinnamon, if using) and mix until a firm dough forms.

  4. Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface to about ¼-inch thickness.

  5. Cut into bone shapes (or any fun cutter you like).

  6. Place treats on the baking sheet and bake for 20–25 minutes, until set and lightly golden.

  7. Cool completely before serving to your pup.

How To Store

Once fully cooled, store the treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
For longer freshness, refrigerate for up to 2 weeks, or freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw before serving.

Serving Sizes

  • Small dogs: 1 treat per day

  • Medium dogs: 1–2 treats per day

  • Large dogs: 2–3 treats per day

Treats should complement a balanced diet—always adjust based on your dog’s size, activity level, and dietary needs.
