1 cup pumpkin purée (plain, unsweetened)
1 cup chicken liver (or beef liver)
2 cups oat flour (or rolled oats blended into flour)
1 egg
1 tablespoon olive oil (optional, for smoother dough)
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Add the liver to a food processor and blend until smooth.
Add pumpkin purée, egg, and olive oil, then blend again until fully combined.
Gradually mix in the oat flour until a soft, workable dough forms.
Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about ¼-inch thickness.
Cut into bone shapes (or any fun shape you like).
Place treats on the baking tray and bake for 25–30 minutes, until firm.
Let cool completely before serving to your dog.
Store the treats in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.
For longer storage, freeze them for up to 3 months and thaw as needed.
