18 Dog Treats
1 cup pure pumpkin purée (unsweetened, no spices)
2 tablespoons ground flax seed
1 ½ cups oat flour (or finely ground rolled oats)
1 egg
1–2 tablespoons water (as needed for dough consistency)
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, mix the pumpkin purée, egg, and ground flax seed until well combined.
Gradually add the oat flour and mix until a soft, workable dough forms. Add water a little at a time if the dough feels too dry.
Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface to about ¼-inch thickness.
Cut into bone shapes (or any shape you like) using a cookie cutter.
Place treats on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes, or until firm and lightly golden.
Let cool completely before serving to your dog.
Store the treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days. For longer freshness, keep them in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks or freeze for up to 3 months.
Small dogs: 1 treat per day
Medium dogs: 1–2 treats per day
Large dogs: Up to 3 treats per day
Always supervise your dog when introducing new treats and adjust based on size and dietary needs.
