1 cup pumpkin purée (plain, unsweetened)
1 ½ cups whole wheat flour (or oat flour for sensitive stomachs)
1 large egg
2 tablespoons natural peanut butter (xylitol-free)
½ teaspoon cinnamon (optional, dog-safe)
In a large bowl, mix the pumpkin purée, egg, and peanut butter until smooth.
Gradually add the flour and cinnamon, mixing until a soft dough forms.
Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface to about ¼-inch thickness.
Cut into bone-shaped treats using a cookie cutter.
Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
Place treats in a single layer in the air fryer basket (work in batches if needed).
Air fry for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway, until firm and lightly golden.
Let the treats cool completely before serving.
Store cooled treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
For longer storage, refrigerate for up to 2 weeks or freeze for up to 3 months.
