Ingredients

  • 1 cup pure pumpkin purée (unsweetened, no spices)

  • ½ cup natural peanut butter (xylitol-free)

  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil, melted

  • 2½ cups whole wheat flour (or oat flour for a gentler option)

  • 1 large egg

  • 1–3 tablespoons water (as needed for dough)

How To Make

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a medium bowl, mix pumpkin purée, peanut butter, melted coconut oil, and egg until smooth.

  3. Gradually add the flour, mixing until a dough forms. If it’s too dry, add water one tablespoon at a time.

  4. Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface to about ¼-inch thickness.

  5. Use a bone-shaped cookie cutter (or any fun shape) to cut out treats.

  6. Place treats on the baking sheet and bake for 20–25 minutes, until firm and lightly golden.

  7. Let cool completely before serving to your pup.

How To Store

  • Store cooled treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.

  • Refrigerate for up to 2 weeks for extra freshness.

  • Freeze for up to 3 months—perfect for batch baking!

Serving Sizes

  • Small dogs: 1 small treat per day

  • Medium dogs: 1–2 treats per day

  • Large dogs: 2–3 treats per day

(Always adjust based on your dog’s size, diet, and activity level.)
