1 cup natural peanut butter (unsalted and xylitol-free)
¾ cup pumpkin puree (plain, not pumpkin pie filling)
2 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
2 cups whole wheat flour (or oat flour as an alternative)
1 large egg
2–4 tablespoons water (as needed for dough consistency)
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, pumpkin puree, melted coconut oil, and egg. Stir until smooth.
Gradually mix in the flour, forming a thick dough.
Add water a tablespoon at a time if the dough feels too dry.
Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface to about ¼ inch thickness.
Use a bone-shaped cookie cutter to cut out treats.
Place the treats on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 18–20 minutes until firm and lightly golden.
Allow treats to cool completely before serving to your dog.
