2 ½ cups whole wheat flour
1 cup rolled oats
1 ripe banana, mashed
½ cup unsweetened applesauce
¼ cup peanut butter (xylitol-free)
1 large egg
½ teaspoon cinnamon
2–3 tablespoons water (as needed)
Natural food coloring (pastel pink, yellow, blue, green)
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine mashed banana, applesauce, peanut butter, and egg.
Stir in oats, flour, and cinnamon until a dough forms. Add water gradually if dough is dry.
Divide dough into separate bowls and mix in a few drops of different pastel food colors.
Roll out dough to ¼-inch thickness and cut into bone shapes.
Place on baking sheet and bake for 22–25 minutes until firm.
Let cool completely before serving.
