1 cup organic oat flour
½ cup organic peanut butter (xylitol-free)
½ cup unsweetened organic applesauce
1 organic egg
¼ cup finely shredded organic carrot
1 tablespoon organic coconut oil
Optional: 1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley for fresh breath
Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, combine oat flour, peanut butter, applesauce, and egg until a dough forms.
Add the shredded carrot, coconut oil, and parsley (if using) and mix well.
Lightly flour a surface with oat flour and roll the dough to about ¼ inch thickness.
Use a bone-shaped cookie cutter to cut out the treats.
Place the treats on the baking sheet, leaving a little space between each one.
Bake for 18–20 minutes or until the treats are firm and lightly golden.
Let them cool completely before giving them to your dog.
Store the treats in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
For longer storage, place them in a freezer-safe container and freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw a few at a time before serving.
Small dogs (under 20 lbs): 1 small treat

Large dogs (50+ lbs): 2–3 treats
