1 cup natural peanut butter (xylitol-free)
1 cup whole wheat flour (or oat flour for sensitive dogs)
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 egg
1–2 tablespoons water (if dough needs softening)
How To Make
Preheat the oven to 175°C / 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix wet ingredients in a bowl: peanut butter, applesauce, and egg until smooth.
Add flour gradually, mixing until a soft dough forms. Add a little water if the dough feels too dry.
Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/2 inch thick.
Cut bone shapes using a cookie cutter and place them on the baking sheet.
Bake for 12–15 minutes until the treats are set but still soft.
Cool completely before giving them to your dog.
