18 Dog Treats
1 cup plain unsweetened yogurt (xylitol-free)
½ cup natural peanut butter (unsalted, xylitol-free)
1 ripe banana, mashed
¼ cup oats (optional for texture)
1–2 tablespoons water or milk (optional, to thin mixture)
In a mixing bowl, mash the banana until smooth.
Add the peanut butter and yogurt, stirring until fully combined.
Mix in oats if using, creating a slightly thicker texture.
If the mixture is too thick, add a small splash of water or milk and stir.
Spoon the mixture into bone-shaped silicone molds or ice cube trays.
Smooth the tops with a spoon.
Place the molds in the freezer for 3–4 hours, or until completely solid.
Remove from molds and store for later treats.
Store treats in an airtight freezer container.
They stay fresh for up to 2 months in the freezer.
Keep treats frozen until serving so they keep their shape and cool texture.
If serving outdoors on hot days, offer them right away so they don’t melt.
Small dogs (under 20 lbs): ½–1 treat
Medium dogs (20–50 lbs): 1 treat
Large dogs (50–80 lbs): 1–2 treats
Extra-large dogs (80+ lbs): 2 treats
