Ingredients

  • 1 cup natural peanut butter (unsalted and xylitol-free)

  • 1 cup pumpkin purée (unsweetened)

  • 2 ½ cups oat flour (or blended rolled oats)

  • 1 egg

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for extra shine and flavor)

  • 2–4 tablespoons water (as needed for dough)

How To Make

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Mix the wet ingredients in a bowl: peanut butter, pumpkin purée, egg, and coconut oil until smooth.

  3. Add oat flour gradually, mixing until a dough forms. Add water one tablespoon at a time if the dough feels too dry.

  4. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about ¼ inch thickness.

  5. Cut into bone shapes using a cookie cutter and place them on the baking sheet.

  6. Bake for 18–22 minutes until the treats are firm and lightly golden.

  7. Cool completely before serving to your dog.

How To Store

  • Store treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.

  • For longer freshness, keep them in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

  • You can also freeze the treats for up to 3 months and thaw before serving.

Serving Sizes

  • Small dogs (under 20 lbs): 1 small treat per day

  • Medium dogs (20–50 lbs): 1–2 treats per day

  • Large dogs (50+ lbs): 2–3 treats per day

Always adjust portions based on your dog’s diet and activity level.
