The first time these treats came out of the oven, the kitchen filled with a warm, nutty aroma and a hint of sweetness. Before they had even cooled completely, a familiar pair of hopeful eyes appeared at my feet. There was no barking, no whining—just patient sitting and a softly wagging tail. One small taste was all it took. The crunch, the flavor, the unmistakable joy. From that day on, these treats became a regular request, earned after good walks, polite greetings, and perfect sits. Watching that little face light up over something made with love is a reminder that the simplest recipes often bring the biggest happiness.
