2 ripe bananas, mashed
1/4 cup raw honey
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup whole wheat flour (or oat flour)
1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
1 tablespoon coconut oil, melted
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, mash bananas until smooth.
Stir in honey, applesauce, and melted coconut oil.
Add oats, flour, and cinnamon. Mix until a soft dough forms.
Roll dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/4-inch thickness.
Use a bone-shaped cookie cutter (or knife) to cut out treats.
Place treats on prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until lightly golden.
Cool completely before serving.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
Refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
Freeze for up to 3 months; thaw as needed.
