1 ripe banana, mashed
1 medium carrot, finely grated
1 cup rolled oats (or oat flour)
1 egg
1 tablespoon coconut oil (melted)
1–2 tablespoons water (as needed for dough consistency)
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, mash the banana until smooth.
Stir in the grated carrot, egg, and melted coconut oil.
Add the oats gradually, mixing until a soft dough forms. If the dough feels dry, add water a little at a time.
Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface to about ¼-inch thickness.
Cut into bone-shaped treats using a cookie cutter.
Place treats on the baking tray and bake for 22–25 minutes, or until lightly golden and firm.
Let cool completely before serving to your dog.
Once fully cooled, store the treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
For longer storage, keep them in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks, or freeze for up to 3 months.
Small dogs: 1 small treat per day
Medium dogs: 1–2 treats per day
Large dogs: Up to 3 treats per day
Always adjust treats based on your dog’s size, diet, and activity level.
