18 Dog Treats
1 cup unsweetened applesauce (or finely grated fresh apple, peeled & cored)
1 cup oat flour (or finely ground oats)
2 tablespoons fresh mint, finely chopped
1 egg
1–2 tablespoons water (as needed for dough consistency)
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, mix the applesauce, egg, and chopped mint until well combined.
Gradually add the oat flour, mixing until a soft dough forms. Add water if the dough feels too dry.
Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about ¼-inch thickness.
Cut into bone shapes (or any shape you like) and place on the baking sheet.
Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until lightly golden and firm.
Let treats cool completely before serving to your dog.
Store the treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days, or refrigerate for up to 10 days. For longer storage, freeze them for up to 3 months and thaw as needed.
Small dogs: 1 treat per day
Medium dogs: 1–2 treats per day
Large dogs: 2–3 treats per day
Always serve treats in moderation alongside a balanced diet.
