1 cup unsweetened applesauce (or 1 apple, finely grated)
1 egg
1½ cups oat flour (or finely ground oats)
1 tablespoon coconut oil, melted
½ teaspoon cinnamon (optional, dog-safe amount)
Water as needed (1–2 tablespoons)
Mix the dough: In a bowl, whisk applesauce, egg, and melted coconut oil until smooth.
Add dry ingredients: Stir in oat flour and cinnamon. Mix until a soft dough forms. Add a little water if the dough feels dry.
Roll & cut: Roll dough to about ¼-inch thickness on a lightly floured surface. Cut into small treat or bone shapes.
Air fry: Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Place treats in a single layer in the basket.
Cook: Air fry for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway, until lightly golden and firm.
Cool: Let treats cool completely to crisp up before serving.
