Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked ground turkey (lean, unseasoned)

  • 1 cup mashed sweet potato (cooked and cooled)

  • 1 egg

  • 1 ½ cups oat flour (or blended rolled oats)

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley (optional)

How To Make

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a large bowl, combine the cooked turkey, mashed sweet potato, egg, and olive oil. Mix until smooth.

  3. Gradually stir in the oat flour until a soft, workable dough forms.

  4. Roll the dough out to about ¼-inch thickness on a lightly floured surface.

  5. Cut into fun shapes (bones work great!) or slice into small squares.

  6. Place treats onto the prepared baking sheet.

  7. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until firm and lightly golden.

  8. Allow treats to cool completely before serving.

How To Store

Store treats in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.
For longer storage, freeze in a sealed bag or container for up to 3 months. Thaw before serving.

Serving Sizes

  • Small dogs: 1–2 treats per day

  • Medium dogs: 2–3 treats per day

  • Large dogs: 3–4 treats per day

(Always adjust based on your dog’s size, age, and activity level.)

Puppy Approved

The first time I pulled these treats from the oven, the kitchen filled with a warm, savory aroma that seemed to float straight down the hallway. Curious paws padded in, followed by wide, hopeful eyes. Sitting patiently, tail softly sweeping the floor, my pup watched every move I made. When I finally offered one, it was taken gently, then devoured in seconds. A moment later, that familiar head tilt appeared, silently asking for more. Since then, these treats have become a special ritual—earned after walks, training sessions, or simply for being a good dog. It’s a small joy, but seeing that pure happiness makes every batch worth it.
