18 Dog Treats
1 cup oat flour
½ cup pure pumpkin purée (unsweetened, no spices)
1 egg
2 tablespoons natural peanut butter (xylitol-free)
¼ teaspoon cinnamon (optional, for dog-safe flavor)
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin purée, egg, and peanut butter until smooth.
Gradually add the oat flour (and cinnamon if using) and mix until a soft dough forms.
Lightly flour a surface with oat flour and roll the dough to about ¼-inch thickness.
Cut into bone shapes (or any fun shape you like) using cookie cutters.
Place treats on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20–25 minutes, until firm and lightly golden.
Let cool completely before serving to your dog.
Store the treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
For longer freshness, keep them in the refrigerator for up to 1 week, or freeze for up to 3 months. Always thaw frozen treats before serving.
Small dogs: 1 treat per day
Medium dogs: 1–2 treats per day
Large dogs: 2–3 treats per day
Treats should be given in moderation and adjusted based on your dog’s size, diet, and activity level.
