Ingredients

  • 1 cup pumpkin purée (plain, unsweetened)

  • ½ cup fresh or frozen blueberries

  • 2 cups oat flour (or rolled oats blended into flour)

  • 1 large egg

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (melted)

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional, dog-safe amount)

How To Make

  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the blueberries slightly with a fork.

  3. Add pumpkin purée, egg, and melted coconut oil. Mix until smooth.

  4. Gradually stir in the oat flour (and cinnamon if using) until a soft dough forms.

  5. Roll the dough out to about ¼-inch thickness on a lightly floured surface.

  6. Use a bone-shaped cookie cutter to cut out treats.

  7. Place treats on the baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes, until firm but not overly hard.

  8. Let cool completely before serving to your dog.

How To Store

  • Store treats in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.

  • For longer storage, freeze them for up to 3 months.

  • Always let frozen treats thaw fully before giving them to your dog.

Serving Sizes

  • Small dogs: 1 treat per day

  • Medium dogs: 1–2 treats per day

  • Large dogs: 2–3 treats per day

Treats should complement a balanced diet, not replace meals.
