Easy
18 Dog Treats
1 ripe banana, mashed
½ cup fresh or frozen blueberries
1 cup oat flour (or finely ground rolled oats)
1 large egg
1 tablespoon coconut oil, melted
1–2 tablespoons water (only if needed for dough consistency)
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, mash the banana until smooth.
Gently fold in the blueberries, slightly crushing them to release juices.
Add the egg and melted coconut oil, mixing until combined.
Stir in the oat flour gradually until a soft, rollable dough forms. Add water only if the dough feels too dry.
Roll the dough to about ¼-inch thickness on a lightly floured surface.
Cut into bone shapes (or any fun shape your dog loves).
Place treats on the baking tray and bake for 18–22 minutes, until lightly golden and firm.
Cool completely before serving.
Store treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
Refrigerate for up to 7 days for extra freshness.
Freeze for up to 3 months; thaw before serving.
Small dogs: 1 treat per day
Medium dogs: 1–2 treats per day
Large dogs: 2–3 treats per day
Treats should always be given in moderation and alongside a balanced diet.
