1 cup oat flour (or blended rolled oats)
½ cup unsweetened applesauce
½ cup fresh or frozen blueberries (chopped if large)
1 egg
1 tablespoon coconut oil (melted)
1–2 tablespoons water (as needed)
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, whisk the egg, applesauce, and melted coconut oil until smooth.
Fold in the oat flour and blueberries. Add water a tablespoon at a time until a soft, rollable dough forms.
Roll dough to about ¼-inch thickness and cut into bone shapes (or simple squares).
Place treats on the baking sheet and bake for 18–22 minutes, until set and lightly golden.
Cool completely before serving to your dog.
Room temperature: Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
Refrigerator: Keeps fresh for 7–10 days.
Freezer: Freeze for up to 3 months; thaw as needed.
Small dogs: 1–2 small treats per day
Medium dogs: 2–3 treats per day
Large dogs: 3–4 treats per day
