Soft, wholesome, and naturally sweet, these homemade dog treats are incredibly easy to make with just a handful of real ingredients. If you want a simple, preservative-free snack your dog will go crazy for, this recipe is a no-brainer.

1 cup pumpkin purée (plain, unsweetened)
½ cup fresh or frozen blueberries
1½ cups oat flour (or finely ground rolled oats)
1 egg
1 tablespoon coconut oil (melted)
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Add pumpkin purée and blueberries to a bowl and mash or blend until mostly smooth.
Mix in the egg and melted coconut oil until well combined.
Gradually add the oat flour, stirring until a soft dough forms.
Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface to about ¼-inch thickness.
Use a bone-shaped cookie cutter to cut out treats.
Place treats on the baking tray and bake for 20–25 minutes, until firm and lightly golden.
Let cool completely before serving to your dog.
Store the treats in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.
For longer storage, freeze them for up to 3 months and thaw as needed.
Small dogs: 1 treat per day
Medium dogs: 1–2 treats per day
Large dogs: Up to 3 treats per day
Always adjust serving size based on your dog’s size, age, and activity level.
