18 Dog Treats
1 cup pure pumpkin purée (unsweetened, not pumpkin pie filling)
1 large egg
1 ½ cups whole wheat flour (or oat flour for sensitive tummies)
¼ cup rolled oats
2–3 tablespoons water (as needed)
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, mix the pumpkin purée and egg until smooth.
Add flour and oats, stirring until a soft dough forms. Add water gradually if the dough feels dry.
Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface to about ¼-inch thickness.
Cut into bone shapes (or any fun shape you like).
Place treats on the baking sheet and bake for 20–25 minutes, until firm and lightly golden.
Let treats cool completely before serving to your dog.
Store the treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days. For longer freshness, keep them refrigerated for up to 2 weeks or freeze for up to 3 months.
Small dogs: 1 treat per day
Medium dogs: 1–2 treats per day
Large dogs: 2–3 treats per day
Always adjust based on your dog’s size, activity level, and overall diet.
