1 ripe banana (mashed)
1 cup rolled oats
½ cup peanut butter (unsweetened, xylitol-free)
1 egg
1–2 tablespoons water (only if needed for dough consistency)
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, mash the banana until smooth.
Add the peanut butter and egg, mixing until well combined.
Stir in the rolled oats and mix until a soft dough forms. Add a little water if the dough feels too dry.
Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface and cut into bone shapes (or small squares).
Place treats on the baking sheet and bake for 18–22 minutes, until lightly golden.
Let treats cool completely before serving.
Store the homemade banana dog treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
For longer freshness, refrigerate for up to 7 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Always thaw fully before serving.
