2 ½ cups whole wheat flour
1 egg
2–3 tablespoons water (if needed)
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix the wet ingredients in a bowl: peanut butter, pumpkin puree, and egg until smooth.
Add the flour gradually and mix until a thick dough forms. If the dough feels dry, add a tablespoon of water at a time.
Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about ¼ inch thick.
Cut the treats using a bone-shaped cookie cutter.
Place on the baking sheet and bake for 20–25 minutes until firm and lightly golden.
Cool completely before serving to your dog.
Store treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.
For longer storage, keep them in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
