2 clean, baked, and finely crushed eggshells
1 cup oat flour (or blended oats)
½ cup whole wheat flour
1 large egg
½ cup unsweetened applesauce
1 tablespoon olive oil
2–4 tablespoons water (as needed)
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Grind baked eggshells into a fine powder using a blender or coffee grinder.
In a bowl, combine oat flour, whole wheat flour, and eggshell powder.
Add egg, applesauce, and olive oil. Mix until dough forms.
Add water gradually if dough feels dry.
Roll dough to ¼-inch thickness and cut into bone shapes.
Place on baking sheet and bake for 22–25 minutes until firm and lightly golden.
Cool completely before serving.
Store treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days, or refrigerate for up to 2 weeks. For longer storage, freeze for up to 3 months.
