2 cups oat flour
1 cup natural peanut butter (unsweetened and xylitol-free)
1 egg
½ cup unsweetened applesauce
¼ cup grated carrot
2–3 tablespoons water (as needed)
Optional decoration: plain yogurt or dog-safe icing
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix the wet ingredients in a bowl: peanut butter, egg, and applesauce until smooth.
Add the dry ingredients by mixing in oat flour and grated carrot.
Adjust the dough by adding a little water if needed until it forms a soft but workable dough.
Roll the dough to about ¼ inch thickness on a lightly floured surface.
Cut bone shapes using a cookie cutter.
Place treats on the baking sheet and bake for 18–20 minutes or until lightly golden.
Cool completely before serving.
Optional: Drizzle a little yogurt on top and place them in a small Easter basket for a festive presentation.
Store the treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
