1 cup natural peanut butter (unsweetened, xylitol-free)
1 cup pumpkin purée (plain, not pie filling)
2 ½ cups whole wheat flour (or oat flour for sensitive dogs)
1 egg
1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional but dog-safe)
2–4 tablespoons water (as needed for dough consistency)
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix the wet ingredients in a large bowl: peanut butter, pumpkin purée, and egg until smooth.
Add the flour and cinnamon gradually, mixing until a dough forms.
Add water if needed to help the dough come together and become easy to roll.
Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about ½ cm (¼ inch) thickness.
Cut bone-shaped cookies using a dog bone cookie cutter.
Place treats on the baking sheet and bake for about 18–22 minutes, until firm and lightly golden.
Cool completely before serving to your dog.
Store treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
For longer storage, keep them in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
You can also freeze them for up to 3 months in a sealed container or freezer bag.
Always allow frozen treats to thaw before serving.

Medium dogs (20–50 lbs / 9–23 kg): 1–2 treats
