1 cup mashed sweet potato (cooked and cooled)
1 ½ cups whole wheat flour
½ cup rolled oats
1 large egg
2 tablespoons unsweetened applesauce
1 tablespoon coconut oil (melted)
¼ teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, mix mashed sweet potato, egg, applesauce, and melted coconut oil until smooth.
Gradually stir in whole wheat flour, oats, and cinnamon. Mix until a dough forms.
Lightly flour a surface and roll dough to about ¼-inch thickness.
Cut into bone shapes or desired forms.
Place treats on prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 25–30 minutes until firm and lightly golden.
Cool completely before serving.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
