These homemade banana dog treats are incredibly easy and simple—made with just a few wholesome ingredients you likely already have. They’re naturally sweet, budget-friendly, and perfect for spoiling your pup with a healthy snack you can trust.

2 ripe bananas (mashed)
1 cup rolled oats (or oat flour)
¼ cup peanut butter (xylitol-free)
1 egg (optional, for extra firmness)
1–2 tablespoons water (if needed)
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
In a bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
Stir in peanut butter and the egg (if using).
Add oats gradually and mix until a soft, non-sticky dough forms. Add a little water if the dough feels dry.
Roll out the dough and cut into bone-shaped treats (or simple squares).
Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until lightly golden and firm.
Cool completely before serving to your dog.
Store cooled treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
Refrigerate for up to 7 days.
Freeze for up to 3 months; thaw before serving.
