18 Dog Treats
2 ripe bananas (mashed)
2 cups rolled oats
1 egg
1 tablespoon peanut butter (xylitol-free)
2–4 tablespoons water (as needed for dough consistency)
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
Add the egg and peanut butter, mixing well until combined.
Stir in the rolled oats and mix until a thick dough forms. Add water gradually if the dough feels too dry.
Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface to about ¼-inch thickness.
Use a bone-shaped cookie cutter (or any shape you like) to cut out treats.
Place the treats on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the treats are firm and lightly golden.
Let them cool completely before serving to your dog.
Store the cooled treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. For longer storage, keep them in the refrigerator for up to 1 week or freeze for up to 3 months. Always thaw frozen treats before serving.
Small dogs: 1 treat per day
Medium dogs: 1–2 treats per day
Large dogs: Up to 3 treats per day
Treats should always be given in moderation and as part of a balanced diet.
