1 cup plain, unsweetened yogurt (no xylitol)
¼ cup virgin coconut oil, melted
1 tablespoon natural peanut butter (xylitol-free)
2 tablespoons rolled oats (optional, for texture)
In a medium bowl, mix the plain yogurt and melted coconut oil until smooth and fully combined.
Stir in the peanut butter until the mixture is creamy and uniform.
Fold in rolled oats if using.
Spoon the mixture into silicone bone-shaped molds (or ice cube trays).
Place in the freezer for 1–2 hours, or until fully set.
Pop the treats out of the molds and serve to your very happy pup.
Store the treats in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 months. You can also keep them in the refrigerator for up to 5 days, but they’ll be softer in texture.
Small dogs: 1 small treat per day
Medium dogs: 1–2 treats per day
Large dogs: up to 3 treats per day
Always adjust based on your dog’s size, activity level, and dietary needs.
The first time I gave these treats to my dog, he knew something special was happening. He sat extra straight, ears perked, tail already thumping against the floor. As soon as he tasted one, his eyes softened and he immediately went back for more, licking every last bit from the floor where it had melted slightly. Now, every time I open the freezer, he appears at my side like magic, hopeful and patient. These treats have become our little ritual after long walks—cool, creamy, and full of love. Watching him enjoy something homemade just for him never gets old, and honestly, that happy tail wag makes it all worth it.
