1 cup natural peanut butter (xylitol-free)
1 cup finely grated celery
2 large eggs
2½ cups whole wheat flour (or oat flour)
¼ cup water (as needed)
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, mix peanut butter, eggs, and grated celery until smooth.
Gradually stir in flour until a soft dough forms.
Add water a tablespoon at a time if dough is too dry.
Roll dough on a lightly floured surface to about ¼-inch thickness.
Cut into bone shapes (or squares if you prefer).
Place on baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes or until lightly golden.
Cool completely before serving.
Store treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
For longer storage, refrigerate up to 2 weeks or freeze up to 3 months.
