1 cup rolled oats (quick oats or blended oats both work)
½ cup unsweetened applesauce
½ cup finely grated carrot
1 egg
1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, melted)
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, combine the oats, applesauce, grated carrot, egg, and coconut oil.
Stir until a thick, sticky dough forms.
Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about ¼-inch thickness.
Cut into bone shapes (or any shape you like) using a cookie cutter.
Place treats on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until firm and lightly golden.
Let treats cool completely before serving to your dog.
Store cooled treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
