Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats (quick oats or blended oats both work)

  • ½ cup unsweetened applesauce

  • ½ cup finely grated carrot

  • 1 egg

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, melted)

How To Make

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the oats, applesauce, grated carrot, egg, and coconut oil.

  3. Stir until a thick, sticky dough forms.

  4. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about ¼-inch thickness.

  5. Cut into bone shapes (or any shape you like) using a cookie cutter.

  6. Place treats on the prepared baking sheet.

  7. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until firm and lightly golden.
