18 Dog Treats
1 cup rolled oats (blended into oat flour)
½ cup unsweetened applesauce
½ cup fresh or frozen blueberries
1 large egg
1–2 tablespoons water (as needed for dough consistency)
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Blend the oats in a food processor or blender until they form a fine flour.
Mash the blueberries slightly with a fork to release their juices.
Mix all ingredients in a bowl: oat flour, applesauce, blueberries, and egg. Add water gradually if the dough feels too dry.
Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about ¼-inch thickness.
Cut into shapes using bone-shaped or small cookie cutters.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, until the treats are firm and lightly golden.
Cool completely before serving to your dog.
Store the treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
Refrigerate to extend freshness up to 10 days.
For long-term storage, freeze treats for up to 3 months and thaw as needed.
