18 Dog Treats
1 cup rolled oats
½ cup natural peanut butter (xylitol-free)
½ cup fresh or frozen blueberries
1 egg
2–4 tablespoons water (as needed)
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Add the rolled oats to a blender or food processor and pulse until they form a coarse flour.
In a mixing bowl, combine oat flour, peanut butter, egg, and blueberries.
Mash the blueberries and mix until a dough forms. Add water one tablespoon at a time if the dough feels too dry.
Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface to about ¼-inch thickness.
Use a bone-shaped cookie cutter (or knife) to cut out treats.
Place treats on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20–25 minutes, until firm and lightly golden.
Let cool completely before serving to your dog.
Store the treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days. For longer freshness, keep them refrigerated for up to 2 weeks or freeze for up to 3 months.
Small dogs: 1 treat per day
Medium dogs: 1–2 treats per day
Large dogs: Up to 3 treats per day
Always adjust portions based on your dog’s size, age, and activity level.
