Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened applesauce (no added sugar or xylitol)

  • ½ cup plain yogurt (unsweetened, no artificial sweeteners)

  • 2½ cups oat flour (or finely ground rolled oats)

How To Make

  1. Mix wet ingredients: In a medium bowl, stir together the applesauce and plain yogurt until smooth.

  2. Add dry ingredients: Gradually mix in the oat flour until a soft, non-sticky dough forms.

  3. Roll & cut: Roll dough to about ¼-inch thickness on a lightly floured surface. Cut into bone shapes or desired forms.

  4. Bake or dehydrate:

    • Bake: Place treats on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake at 325°F (165°C) for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway.

    • Dehydrate: Dehydrate at 170°F (75°C) for 2–3 hours until firm and dry.

  5. Cool completely: Let treats cool on a rack before serving to your dog.
