1 cup unsweetened applesauce (no added sugar or xylitol)
½ cup plain yogurt (unsweetened, no artificial sweeteners)
2½ cups oat flour (or finely ground rolled oats)
Mix wet ingredients: In a medium bowl, stir together the applesauce and plain yogurt until smooth.
Add dry ingredients: Gradually mix in the oat flour until a soft, non-sticky dough forms.
Roll & cut: Roll dough to about ¼-inch thickness on a lightly floured surface. Cut into bone shapes or desired forms.
Bake or dehydrate:
Bake: Place treats on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake at 325°F (165°C) for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway.
Dehydrate: Dehydrate at 170°F (75°C) for 2–3 hours until firm and dry.
Cool completely: Let treats cool on a rack before serving to your dog.
Room temperature: Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
Refrigerator: Keeps fresh for 10–14 days.
