Ingredients
1 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/2 cup natural peanut butter (xylitol-free)
1 3/4 cups whole wheat flour (or oat flour)
1 egg
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
How To Make
Preheat oven to 180°C / 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix wet ingredients in a bowl: applesauce, peanut butter, and egg until smooth.
Add dry ingredients by gradually mixing in the flour and cinnamon until a soft dough forms.
Roll out dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
Cut shapes using bone-shaped cookie cutters.
Place on baking sheet leaving small gaps between treats.
Bake for 18–22 minutes until lightly golden and firm.
