1 cup whole wheat flour
½ cup rolled oats
1 medium apple, finely grated
2 tablespoons honey
1 egg
2 tablespoons unsweetened applesauce
2–4 tablespoons water (as needed)
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine flour and oats.
Add grated apple, honey, egg, and applesauce. Stir until combined.
Gradually add water until a firm dough forms.
Roll dough out on a lightly floured surface to ¼-inch thickness.
Cut into bone shapes or small squares.
Place treats on baking sheet and bake for 18–22 minutes, or until lightly golden.
