1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and mashed
1 cup whole wheat flour (or oat flour for a gentler option)
½ cup rolled oats
1 large egg
2 tablespoons unsweetened applesauce
1 tablespoon coconut oil, melted
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
In a bowl, mash the strawberries until mostly smooth.
Add the egg, applesauce, and melted coconut oil; mix well.
Stir in the flour and oats until a soft dough forms.
Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface and cut into bone shapes.
Place treats on the baking tray and bake for 18–20 minutes, until firm and lightly golden.
Let cool completely before serving to your dog.
