When I first brought Em home, I thought I had it all figured out.

Some dogs can’t have eggs because of allergies or sensitive stomachs — and some owners just prefer to avoid them. The good news? You can still make healthy, delicious treats that your pup will absolutely love… no eggs required.

When I discovered that my dog Koda was reacting to eggs, I started experimenting in the kitchen. Turns out, egg-free treats can be just as tasty, chewy, and healthy as regular ones — if not better!

Here are two easy recipes your dog will go nuts for.

Recipe 1 – Peanut Butter & Oat Chews (Egg-Free)

Perfect for: Everyday snacks, training rewards, or dogs with mild food sensitivities.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats (blended into oat flour)

  • ½ cup unsalted peanut butter

  • ¼ cup unsweetened applesauce

  • 2 tbsp water (add more if needed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).

  2. Mix peanut butter and applesauce until smooth.

  3. Stir in oat flour. Add water slowly until dough holds together.

  4. Roll into small balls or flatten into shapes.

  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes until firm.

Final Thoughts

Egg-free dog treats are proof that healthy can be simple . Whether your dog has allergies or you just want a cleaner ingredient list, these recipes are quick, budget-friendly, and pup-approved.

And don’t forget — a healthy treat is even better when your dog looks as good as they feel. That’s why I always use my FreshFur™ Shower Brush from our store after messy baking days. It keeps Koda’s coat clean, shiny, and happy — just like his tummy after snack time.
