½ cup whole wheat flour
1 ripe banana, mashed
¼ cup unsweetened applesauce
1 large egg
2 tablespoons peanut butter (xylitol-free)
½ teaspoon cinnamon
¼ cup water (as needed for batter consistency)
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking tray or lightly grease bone-shaped molds.
In a bowl, combine oats and whole wheat flour.
Add mashed banana, applesauce, egg, peanut butter, and cinnamon.
Mix until a thick but spoonable batter forms. Add water gradually if needed.
Spoon batter into molds or shape small bone-like portions on the tray.
Bake for 18–22 minutes until firm and lightly golden.
Cool completely before serving.
Store treats in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days. For longer storage, freeze in a sealed bag for up to 2 months. Thaw before serving.
